Stay Away From Osteporosis

In addition to supporting the body, bones also serve as storage of essential minerals for the body. Because the bone must be maintained, one engaged in food intake.

Foods rich in calcium is needed to increase bone density, but there are some foods and beverages should be avoided because it accelerates bone fragility by removing the minerals. What foods?

1. Drinks

Fizzy drinks contain phosphoric acid, which will increase the speed of the cost of calcium vapor. Furthermore, the majority of people keen on baking in general avoid calcium-rich beverages like milk.

2. Salt

Salt, or more precisely sodium, leading to loss of calcium and slow decrease in bone density. According to experts, will lose about 40 milligrams of calcium in the urine for every 2300 milligrams of sodium, the amount of sodium that must be met in a day.

In a study of women found that women who undergo high-sodium diet lost more bone mineral than those who do not.

It is known that salt also appears in almost all processed foods such as bread, sausage, cereal and fast food that contains 75 percent of total daily intake of sodium.

3. Caffeine

4. Alcohol

Some studies also found that alcohol reduces the female hormone estrogen and can cause irregular periods. Reduced levels of estrogen trigger the process of rehabilitation or reconstruction of bones.

5. Vitamin A

Vitamin A is found in eggs, liver and milk fat is very good for the immune system and vision. But a study published in The New England Journal of Medicine found that excess intake of vitamin A may increase the risk of fractures as seven times, especially those who took supplemental vitamin A. However, vitamin A in small doses is still important for the body.

6. Trans Fat

Research shows that vitamin K is destroyed when liquid oil becomes solid process of oil hydrogenation. Vitamin K is needed for calcium absorption and healthy bones. It can be obtained from green leafy vegetables and vegetable oils such as canola and olive oil.
